We attended the Grand Opening of Store 13’s Pasadena location. It was an absolute good time with a massive amount of people. Its great to see when people come out to support local businesses. We ran into some West Covina skate legends including the one and only Label, Label is still a G and at the same time one of the nicest dudes we know. It was good to catch up with people and show some love.
Some of the crew visited the ‘Bridgetown’ art show last night. The show featured local artists, most notably Melissa Nebrida who we went to high school with back in the day. The art on display was unique and inspirational. We can’t help but love the fact that people we grew up with are doing wonderful and artistic work. There was some live body art too, that corset…is painted on. Jealous? Enjoy and thanks for reading up!
24 for 24! Our boy Aaron just turned 24 and we celebrated by making sure he had a shot for every year of his life. Good times were had by all. Then there was an after party… somebody even hung a Caravagio tag on a door. haha If the caravagio is a rockin don’t come a knockin! Pho is the great hangover cure. Trust Joey T on that one. We met up with Jojo from DPE Wheels at a local Wingstop yesterday. We threw down like real men and went for the 50 wing platter. If you go there make sure to try the Cajun flavored! So good! The homie Perry and his brother came down to join us too. 2 sets of brothers, all good! After Wingstop we headed over to RA sushi for some after dinner drinks. Good times!
The DPE / Europrojektz charity meet and raffle was a success! The proceeds went to The March of Dimes and we showed our support by donating items to that were raffled off. There were some ridiculously unique rides there and we represented by bringing three of our own. It was an amazing event, great people and best of all it was for an extremely good cause.
